Its patented C‑shape meets more of the lash from root to tip. The thicker pad cushions the lash while firm, even pressure shapes a smooth sweep instead of a sharp bend at the base.
02
Close the curler slowly, then apply firm, steady, even pressure for 10 seconds. The thicker protective pad means you may need more sustained pressure than with a traditional curler. Never force, tug, pump or use a quick, harsh clamp.

Yes. Watch Kara, founder of The C Curl, demonstrate the technique step by step in our How to Use video.
04
Yes. Begin with clean, dry lashes, use The C Curl first and apply mascara afterward. This helps prevent lashes from sticking to the pad or being pulled. Follow with Lasting Curl or Colossal Curl Mascara to define the shape and help preserve the lift.
05
Lasting Curl, Colossal Curl, and Continuous Curl Mascara all remove easily with warm water and your usual face cleanser or a gentle soap. With your eyes closed, gently massage the lashes and rinse. There is no need for harsh rubbing.
06
After the first hold, move halfway up the lash, tip the curler gently back toward your face and hold for about three seconds to continue the C‑shape through the tips.
07
Yes. Comb lashes upward, position the curler where it comfortably captures them and close completely. There’s no need to press directly against the lash line. Tilt it back toward your brow and hold for 10 seconds. Kara, founder of The C Curl, demonstrates this technique on her own short lashes in our How to Use video.
08
Replace the pad every 3–4 months, or sooner if it looks compressed, cracked, worn or no longer sits evenly. A fresh pad helps the curler close and perform as designed.
